Tiger Touch for Snapmaker 3D printers

Tiger Touch turns a BIGTREETECH Panda Touch or K-Touch into a live screen for your Snapmaker U1: its four tool heads, the one at work ringed, progress and temperatures.

Tiger Touch on a Panda Touch showing a Snapmaker U1 printing: four tool heads, the active one ringed, and their spools

What it shows

  • Progress, layers, time left and the file being printed
  • All four tool heads with their temperatures, the active one ringed
  • Each head's spool with material and colour

From the screen

Pause, resume and stop through Moonraker; stop asks for a confirmation first. The cavity light switches from the screen.

How it connects

Moonraker's WebSocket on your local network (port 7125), with the U1's own filament data.

Tested on real printers

Seen on a real U1, idle: state, the four nozzles with the active one ringed, the bed.

Set it up in three steps

  1. 1

Add the U1 in Tiger Studio Manager (desktop app): it finds it on your network.

  2. 2

Flash Tiger Touch, sign in with the same TigerSystem account.

  3. 3

Switch the printer on in Settings > Printers.

Good to know

The U1 runs Klipper, but keeps a driver of its own on Tiger Touch for its filament data.
