AI assistant connector

Ask ChatGPT or Claude what's left on your spools.

Connect your AI assistant to your TigerSystem account. It reads your spools, racks and printers — and never changes a thing. Free, and set up in a few clicks.

Ask it like you'd ask a friend who knows your shelf.

It answers from your own inventory — real spools, real grams, not a guess.

  • How much black PLA do I have left?
  • Which spools are under 200 g?
  • What's on rack 2?
  • Do I have enough PETG for a 400 g print?
  • What silk PLA is my friend sharing with me?
  • What did I use the most this month?

Connect it in a few clicks

Paste the address, sign in on tigersystem.io, click Allow. That's the whole ritual.

Codex, Cursor & co.

Any MCP client on your computer

  1. 1Add a remote MCP server of type Streamable HTTP with the address. No token needed.
  2. 2Your browser opens: sign in on tigersystem.io and click Allow.
  3. 3A blank 127.0.0.1 page afterwards is normal — that's the app collecting the sign-in. Close the tab.

Menu names move often in these apps; the steps stay the same.

Using Tiger Studio? It serves the same tools locally, for assistants on the same computer: My profile → AI assistants.

It reads. It never touches.

Read-only, all the way

All 14 of its tools only read. It can't add, edit or delete a spool — even if you ask nicely.

It reads as you

Same access rules as the apps: your data, plus what friends chose to share with you. Never another account.

No secrets, ever

Printer access codes, cloud logins, your private key and your e-mail are never handed over, whatever it asks.

Cut it off anytime

Your account page → Connected assistants. One click on Cut access and it's gone.

Quick answers

Is the TigerSystem AI connector free?

Yes. The connector and your TigerSystem account are free. Your assistant may need its own plan: ChatGPT, for example, only offers custom connectors on paid plans.

What is MCP?

MCP (Model Context Protocol) is the open standard AI assistants use to reach outside tools — think of it as a plug. The TigerSystem connector speaks it, so any assistant that supports remote MCP servers with sign-in can read your account.

Which AI assistants work with it?

Claude (web, desktop and mobile, as a custom connector), ChatGPT (developer mode, on a paid plan), and desktop clients such as Codex or Cursor. Any MCP client that supports remote servers with OAuth sign-in works.

Can the assistant change or delete my spools?

No. All 14 tools are read-only. It can look at your spools, racks, printers, scales, wishlists and stock history — it cannot write anything.

Does it see my printer passwords or my e-mail?

No. Printer access codes, cloud logins, your private key and your e-mail are never returned, whatever the assistant asks. It reads as you, under the same rules as the apps, so it never sees another account.

How do I cut an assistant off?

On tigersystem.io, open your account page, then Connected assistants. Every assistant you allowed is listed with when it was last used; Cut access stops it at once.
