Bringing PETG properties to metal composites! Made with real iron powder! Protopasta Composite Iron PETG is 60% iron by weight, like our High Density Iron-filled HTPLA. The main difference is you get PETG properties. Properties include: Metal finishes like cast (as printed), brushed/sanded, or oxidized (rusted). Ferromagnetic (magnets stick to it) Increased durability - filament bends without breaking Increased heat resistance compared to PLA Higher strength compared to PLA and HTPLA Less heat resistance than heat treated HTPLA Prints like PETG, but a lower nozzle temp can reduce stinging Density ~2x PETG (~1/2 length and volume compared to PETG) Visit our blog for more information.
